How do I let a human take over one robot in a fleet of 100?

Role-based override. bRRAIn's Control Plane issues a Sovereign-tier command that pauses an actor's write authority while a human operates directly. The graph records the override for audit.

The override problem in large fleets

In a fleet of a hundred robots, a single unit will occasionally need a human hand — a stuck mechanism, a safety-critical judgment, a customer-facing nuance. You cannot shut the whole fleet down to intervene, and you cannot let the robot keep writing to shared memory while a human drives it. The override has to be precise: pause one actor, preserve the other ninety-nine, capture what the human did. bRRAIn solves this with role-based overrides issued from the Control Plane and recorded in the graph.

Sovereign-tier commands at the Control Plane

bRRAIn's role model places Sovereigns at the top — operators authorized to override any lower-tier actor. The Auth Gateway / Control Plane accepts a Sovereign-tier command that immediately suspends one robot's write authority. The robot continues to read context so it can display state for the human, but its autonomous writes to the shared Vault are blocked. No changes to fleet memory happen without the human's explicit action during the override window. The other robots in the fleet operate normally throughout.

Isolating the override inside a Workspace

During the handoff, the human-controlled robot operates inside its own Workspace. Anything the human changes — pose corrections, manual pick-and-place, environment annotations — is scoped to that workspace until the Sovereign commits the session back to canonical memory. This keeps experimental or recovery actions from polluting the fleet's shared truth until reviewed. When the override ends, the Consolidator in the Integration Layer merges any approved changes back into the canonical state.

Audit is a query, not a forensic exercise

Every override, every human action during it, and every commit back to canonical is recorded with actor ID, timestamp, and evidence. The graph turns audit from a fire drill into a query. Who took over Robot 47 at 14:02? What did they change? When was the override released? Those answers come out of the POPE graph in seconds. Regulators and safety officers get the full trace; the team gets a clean recovery pattern they can reuse.
